CAREER SUMMARY

1999-now.

Producer/Host of Music For Listeners. Producer, host and programmer of weekly radio music program for KRTU 91.7 FM – San Antonio.  Website designer and online content programmer for www.musicforlisteners.com

1993-now.

Film Director and Producer/Creative Director/Sound Mixer and Sound Designer. Sound design for several motion pictures and sound installations.  Web designer for personal business endeavors.  Sound Mixer for several freelance and personal artistic projects. Started M-T Productions in 2001, which currently has three films in pre-production.

1991-now.

Radio Announcer.  Disc jockey for KRTU, the Trinity University radio station; and part-time announcer for KPAC and KSTXTexas Public Radio.  FCC license granted.  Formatted playlists and logging data for Classical, Jazz, and Alternative programming at all stations.  

2002-2004.

Broadcast/Master Control Operator.  Monitored and programmed multiple digital and analog television broadcasts for KLRN PBS TV – San Antonio.  Recorded high bit-rate video/audio satellite feeds for station playback.

  • Sixteen years multi-track mixing board experience
  • Ten Years digital audio recording, editing and sequencing using Soundforge, WaveLab, ACID Pro,  Reason, CDwav, Audition, and Pro Tools.
  • Four Years experience in website design using Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Notepad, and FrontPage.
  • Digital video and still image capture. Video editing using Premiere and iMoviePicture editing using Photoshop and ImageReady.
  • Eleven years experience with both Windows and Macintosh platforms.
  • Knowledgeable in HTML, XML, RSS, and various webserver applications
  • Digital compression for CD-ROM, DVD, Podcasts, streaming MP3, WMA, Quicktime, and Real Player formats.

 Community Efforts and other stuff.

·          I have volunteered my time as a soundboard operator and as a consultant for many local theater productions and organizations.

·          I have also volunteered countless hours of time for non-profit radio and television organizations.

·          Theodore Roosevelt High School (1985-1990) – Diploma with three-year emphasis on Theater and Theater Production. Actor in U.I.L. competitions and school productions.  Here I also gained my first experience as a sound and light board operator, a musician, a playwright and director.

o         U.I.L. Award – One Act Play competition - All-Star Cast Award for role of Sganarelle in Moliere’s “Don Juan”.

o         U.I.L. Award – Best All-Around Duet in U.I.L. competition – “Greater Tuna” – Actor and Director
